Tonsil stones form in holes, crevices or crypts in the tonsils

Tonsil stones are basically compressed lumps of food and salivary debris. They cause a bad taste and bad breath, and can trigger tonsillitis. Laser tonsillotomy under local anaesthetic spray is a lunchtime treatment that is usually fairly painless, and very effective, although more than 1 procedure may be required.

Hi, i have had several years ago now , laser tonsil removal . Initially worked very well, which was such a relief after years of bad breath! However recently bad breath has returned . I discovered a crevice possibly a second forming next to it ! Can this crevice be removed ? If no tonsil remains? Has anyone else experienced this happening?
