Snoring, catarrh, postnasal drip, throat clearing, lump sensation

This is the uvula, which hangs down from the soft palate in the midline at the back of the mouth. This one is probably within normal limits, but if it gets much bigger it can cause catarrh, snoring, postnasal drip, throat clearing and lump sensation, as it sits on the back of the tongue. It can be laser vapourised quite easily if required.
