Snorer's Uvula: A give away sign on examination of the back of the throat

This is a swollen uvula, particularly the tip, which is paler than the rest as it contains fluid from swelling - caused by being bashed around at night whilst producing the classic snoring sound. Horizontal faint white lines go along with this swelling and are another sign of a hard night's snoring.
