Not all white lumps in the throat are tonsil stones

This is a viral looking infection of the lower throat, below the tonsil on one side. Very unusual. And very painful. The white spots here are due to an inflammatory reaction to the virus. Treatment? Acyclovir tablets, Diclofenac and codeine.
