In Japan they treat the above very seriously, for Chronic Fatigue, M.E. and Long COVID. The thin dotted line demarcates the lower nasopharynx ( back of nose) from the upper nasopharynx. The X is in the upper nasopharynx, and is surrounded by reddened inflamed tissue. The ✓ is in the lower nasopharynx with normal looking non-inflamed mucosa. We do know that chronic tonsillitis is linked to long term fatigue syndromes. Is this another area to be thinking about?
