Infected tonsil with chronic exudate, for laser tonsillectomy under local anaesthetic spray.

This left tonsil has had 2 laser treatments under local anaesthetic spray. It started as a large grade 3 tonsil, and is now grade1/2. However it is still chronically inflamed and needs a further procedure under local anaesthetic spray, as does the other side. This is a lunchtime procedure with immediate return to work. It treats recurrent tonsillitis, chronic tonsillitis and tonsil stones.
